Transition P7 to Year 8
Transition from P7 to Year 8
We have built strong links with local post primary schools and through this we offer our P7 pupils opportunities to experience ICT lessons in Year 8, to attend specialised events run by Year 13/14 students and to watch performances and shows.
Along with our own PDMU scheme of work, we also work with Holywood Youth Centre to offer transition lessons to help prepare our pupils for the move to their next school.
Our pupils also benefit from visits from staff from our local post-primary schools in June each year, who share information on their schools and what our pupils can expect.
