Curriculum
At Knocknagoney Primary School each pupil studies a broad and balanced curriculum suited to their individual needs and abilities. The Principal and staff plan detailed programmes of work for each of the 7 Areas of Learning within the Key Stages:
• Mathematics and Numeracy
• Communication – Language and Literacy
• The World Around Us – Science, Geography, History
• Personal Development and Mutual Understanding – health issues, social skills ,emotional development and relationships
• The Arts – Music, Art and Design, Drama
• Religious Education – in class and assembly time (we respect the right of any parent who may wish to withdraw their child)
• Physical Education
